I am Vaibhav Vijay Ingale, a Green Foundation Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, Scripps Institution of Oceanography of the University of California, San Diego. My research lies in geophysics, with a focus on submarine volcanic and tectonic processes at mid-ocean ridges and subduction zones. I integrate seismic and hydroacoustic monitoring with bathymetric and magnetic data to study earthquake generation, volcanic activity, and slope instability. In addition, I develop machine learning approaches for event detection, catalog construction, and source characterization, advancing methodologies for real-time analysis of underwater geohazards.
